Frequently asked questions

Where does the information come from?
Three sources: what players share publicly (their own posts, bios, recruiting profiles, film and measurables), public college and event information (rosters, staff pages, camp and combine results), and what your staff brings (your contacts, camp sheets and call notes). Self-reported numbers are labeled, and every number shows its source.
How does Radar find players?
Radar watches public recruiting activity in the states you choose: offers, camp results, visits and new film. It brings you players worth a look, often before the national ranking services catch up.
Does this replace our CRM?
If you don't use a CRM, RecruitSignal can run your board on its own: calls, notes, stages and next steps live on each player's card. If you use Front Rush or ARMS, keep it: RecruitSignal exports a clean file in one click.
Is my board private?
Your board, notes, calls and stages are visible only to your staff. Facts about a player, like a posted 40 time, are the same for every program.
What are watched players?
The players you're actively recruiting, wherever they live. Watching a player powers your morning signals and your call list.
Which size fits us?
Pick by how many states you recruit. Most D3, D2 and NAIA programs fit 3 States. If you recruit a region, 6 States. 15 States covers several regions, and Nationwide covers every state. Every size has every feature and your whole staff, and you can swap states as your needs change. Nationwide is annual only: it covers every state from day one.
Scout or Program?
Scout is for one person working on their own: scouts, advisors and agents. A school's staff, even a staff of one, is on Program.
Is there a limit on use?
Every plan includes normal use for your whole staff. If a program's use is far beyond normal, we'll talk with you before anything changes.
Is RecruitSignal an NCAA-approved scouting service?
Division I programs: approval as an NCAA scouting service is in progress.
Is there a limit on how many players I can add?
No. Load your whole board — hundreds of players, every class — on every size. Sizes differ only in how many states Radar covers; every size gets every feature and the whole staff.
What's a lookup?
One AI lookup that builds or refreshes a player's profile — offers, film links, socials, measurables — from public sources. Watched players refresh automatically.
Monthly or annual?
Monthly starts with a 3-month first term, then runs month to month. Annual saves two months.
Can we change sizes?
Yes. Email pulse@recruitsignal.ai; upgrades start right away, prorated; downgrades at renewal. Within a size, 3 States and 6 States swap a state once every 30 days, and 15 States swaps anytime.
What happens if we cancel?
Your board stays, read-only and exportable. A cancel takes effect at the end of the period you paid for. Your board stays yours: every player, every profile, every verified measurable and every note, searchable and exportable. Nothing is ever deleted.
Do you take purchase orders?
Yes, on annual plans. We invoice net 30 with your PO number on the invoice, and you can pay by card, ACH or check. Request a quote above.
Is this finished?
It's v1 and shipping weekly — every plan gets every new feature as it ships. Here's the changelog.
What is Live Signals?
RecruitSignal reads your watched players' own posts on X. On any morning a watched player has news, you get one email, plus a text for offers and commitments, so your staff hears about it the next morning, not on Sunday. Each coach turns it on in Settings, and the Sunday email still recaps the week.
